This is a demonstration of the Casio HT-6000, & a few custom patches I’ve created. The effects processing is all done on my Korg Kronos X 88. The recording was done using Audacity, on a HP Envy laptop, & the video was made using Windows Movie Maker.

First in a series of experiments with the Prophet 12 Desktop from Dave Smith Instruments, a 12-voice hybrid digital/analog synthesiser module. I’m running a very simple sequence from ProTools through the P12 showing how organic its tonal qualities can be.

No external effects, straight to stereo, internal sounds only, just held notes with no manual control. The complex modulation routings permit interesting chaotic sounds. Recorded 2010?

Vintage Synths Vol 1 – Oberheim SEM
German synth historian Matthias Becker produced a CD series back in 1990 with tracks made with one synth only. The CDs were named “Synthesizers Von Gestern Vol 1/2/3”. This track was composed by Klaus Stülen at Originalton West Studio / Köln.
