[Tim Oliver] – Roland Paraphonic 505 Strings & El Capistan

Published on Jul 30, 2013

Played in one go, through a Strymon El Capistan pedal, and with a Valhalla Reverb on the output. The bits where the video pans are where my naked torso comes into shot. I decided to spare you this. Roland Paraphonic 505

[stereoping] – Synth Controller Realtime-Tweaking ft. Microwave, Matrix-1000 and MKS-50

Published on Aug 16, 2014

A little song demo-ing my Synth Controllers. The video shows three of the controllers realtime-tweaking the sound of a Microwave, a Matrix-1000 and a MKS-50 all together while they get fired with notes by a PC-sequencer (Fruity Loops). The Matrix-1000 stutters a bit (we all know it’s got some problems with SysEx) but i think it works quite well nevertheless, better than nothing.

The Synth Controllers are finally finished now in 08/2014 and you can purchase them from my webpage as a DIY assembly kit. Thanks to all the kind guys encouraging me to make a DIY-kit for the first K3 programmer i demo-ed here some years ago.

For detailed infos on the Synth Controller please visit my site. Also available are Controller-Editions for Korg DW-8000, Roland JX-8P and Kawai K3. More Editions to come. Contribute the poll on my site and help me to find out which editions people want next.

Demo of the Prophet 12 in a vintage, old school style’s with sometimes a little FM, Drive.
No external eq (I used LPF and HPF of the synth for that) , no external FX, no External Audio Processing & no mastering.
I have not used factory sound but preferring create own sounds
I just recorded, mixed (volume only) and applied fade in, fade out in Cubase. For spacialisation I used the Pan Spread of the synth and sometimes an LFO set to pan.
I wanted to show what can be the raw synth tools without additional productions.

Now, you can to listen a definitive version with external audio processing and Drums with Maschine to this link :

[DrSqu] – Ensoniq Fizmo – 1 Sound

Uploaded on Dec 30, 2010

For some days I’ve got a Ensoniq Fizmo in my studio. From scratch i created a new sound with help of Sounddiver. In this demo you listen live played Fizmo pure .. it means without any external help only this sound.
The Pad includes 3 Transwave OSC and a simple Sinus OSC. From internal FX comes delays and eq.

Transwave also you can description as Wavetable like in the Waldorf Microwave. Waldorf brings more parameters for the waves, but definitely sounds another. Fizmo can sounding fantastic … of course not only in living pads.

More infos at www.deepsonic.ch in hardware section.
